An exceptional cabinet, by the French 19th century ebenist Henry Dasson.

After a model by André-Charles Boulle.

Upper part with two opening doors, decorated with cube-shaped tulipwood parquetry.

Decorated with a gilt bronze medallion with a profile portrait of Louis XIV.

Standing on 'pieds en gaine carrés', mounted with gilt bronze ram's heads. Centrally connected with a crowned gilt bronze globe with fleur-de-lis.

Finished with gilt bronze frames and fittings.

Signed and dated, 1882.
