Joannes VAN DAMME (1798-1869) 'Chalice' silver with enamel. Bruges, before 1832.

Marked:
- Dubbele Janus, Belgium, 1832-1869, 833/1000.
- Belgian Merva Mark?
- V with a Star for Joannes VAN DAMME (1798-1869)
- The cuppa is marked with a small Belgian sword mark.

Rich decor with a floral motives, finished with red, green and blue coloured enamel plaques. The Node with an inscription IESUS. The cuppa with an engraving: 'Calicem Salutaris Accipiam Et Nomen Domini Invocabo'.

The paten is not hallmarked.
The spoon is marked Henricus De Curte, Ghent, and a Belgian sword mark: 833/1000.

The chalice is dated on the base, 1855.
