A Chalice and paten, Vermeil, Gothic Revival, Cloisonné enamel. France, 19th century.

Chalice in a gothic revival style, richly finished with floral patterns. Decorated with enamel medaillons, depicting on the cuppa Saint Filomena, Madonna with a Child (?), Saint Anna of Avila (?). The six-lobed base with depictions of Jospeh, Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. 

The paten with an IHS logo. 

The set still has the original storage case. 

Hallmarked with a Menerva, France, 1st grade silver. 950/1000. 
The maker's mark is illegible. 

Gross weight: 600g. (Chalice and paten combined).
